Officers are on the lookout after a car was deliberately driven at a female PCSO in a brazen attack. The alarming incident unfolded at 3.30pm on April 19 near the Co-op on Lower Northam Road.
Shoplifting turns dangerous
The PCSO was responding to a shoplifting report in the village centre when two suspects tried to make a getaway. As she attempted to stop them, they jumped into a car and sped towards her. Luckily, she managed to dodge the vehicle and escaped injury.
Police release images of two key women
Now cops have released images of two women they want to speak to, believing they hold vital clues about the case. Detectives are urging anyone who recognises these women or witnessed the incident to come forward.
