Road Rage Horror in Chingford Leaves Man Hurt

A brutal road rage brawl outside Burnside School on Burnside Avenue, Chingford (E4), has left one man injured following a violent street fight on Wednesday evening, 16th July 2025.

Met Police Launch Full Investigation

Metropolitan Police CID officers quickly arrived at the scene and launched a full probe into the incident. A crime scene remains taped off at the junction with May Road as detectives comb for clues.

Witnesses reported a heated argument that spiralled into a full-on physical confrontation around 6pm. The area is still cordoned off while CID detectives investigate, just yards from where a recent murder shook the community.

Two Men Injured in Road Rage Clash

Police sources confirmed the fight stemmed from road rage. Two men took part in the violent tussle, both sustaining injuries. One source said:

“We are investigating a suspected road rage incident in Burnside Avenue, E4, involving two males engaged in a violent altercation. A crime scene has been established and the investigation is ongoing.”

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service treated the injured parties at the scene. Their current conditions remain unconfirmed.

Road Closures and Travel Chaos

Burnside Avenue is closed at its junction with Mayne Road due to the police cordon. Bus route W11 is curtailed at Walthamstow, Crooked Billet, causing travel disruption for local residents.
