Skimming Device Found on Thornhill Cash Machine
A sneaky iPod-style cloning gadget was spotted attached to the cash machine outside the Co-op on Warburton Road, Thornhill, Southampton.
Warning to Cash Machine Users
The device, which appears to have been recording card details for some time, was discovered just after 10pm on Wednesday.
One local warned: “Looks like it’s been recording for a while.”
Police and Store Take Action
- The Co-op has been informed.
- The device has been handed over to Hampshire Constabulary.
- If you used this cash machine recently, check or cancel your bank account immediately.
