Man Arrested After Shocking Hit-and-Run on Erith’s A206 Queens Road

An air ambulance rushed to the scene of a serious hit-and-run on the A206 Queens Road, near the Fish Roundabout in Erith, just before midday on Sunday.

Van Hits Pedestrian and Flees Scene

Police were called shortly before 11.30am after a man was struck by a van, which then sped off without stopping. Emergency crews scrambled to treat the victim, who was airlifted to hospital.

Victim’s Condition Stable

The man is receiving treatment for his injuries, which are not life-threatening, say the police. Officers continue to monitor his condition closely.

Suspect in Custody Over GBH Charges

Police have arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of causing Grievous Bodily Harm with intent. The investigation is ongoing as Met Police urge anyone with information to come forward.
