Serious Collision on Bluebell Hill: Cyclist Hurt in Hit-and-Run
Police are hunting witnesses after a crash between a vehicle and a cyclist on Bluebell Hill on the evening of Wednesday, 22 September 2021.
Man in His 50s Seriously Injured
The incident happened just before 8pm on the Chatham-bound carriageway, shortly before the petrol station. The cyclist, a man in his 50s, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. He is now in a stable condition.
Driver Flees Scene
The vehicle involved was nowhere to be found when officers arrived. Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or has information to come forward.
