Cyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash with Lorry in Bracknell

Thames Valley Police launch urgent appeal after a deadly smash on the A322 Bagshot Road early Saturday.

Deadly Morning Collision

At around 4.45am on Saturday (4 August), a white articulated lorry collided with a 61-year-old cyclist from Surrey. Both were travelling in the same direction when the crash happened. The cyclist tragically died at the scene.

The lorry initially failed to stop and fled the scene.

Police Hunt Witnesses

PC Lyndsey Blackaby from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit is leading the probe. She said: “We are investigating this collision in which a man sadly died.”

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was on the A322 Bagshot Road between 4.30am and 5.30am on Saturday and saw a lorry or cyclist around the time of the crash.
