Stolen Covid Tests Recovered After Harlow Lorry Heist

Police swooped to retrieve stolen lateral flow tests meant for secondary schools nationwide. The kits were pinched from a lorry at Harlow Business Park in the early hours of Tuesday, 2 March.

Three Men Nabbed Over Test Theft

Three men remain in custody, suspected of the theft: a 31-year-old from Canvey, a 27-year-old from Newham, and a 37-year-old from Dagenham. The Dagenham man also faces a separate drug-driving charge.

I urge everyone in Essex to get tested at local sites whenever possible.”
