Fatal Crash in Harrow: Woman Dies, Two Hurt
Detectives have launched an urgent appeal after a deadly collision on Bessborough Road, Harrow, on Monday night.
The crash, involving a car, a bus, and several pedestrians, happened at 9.19pm on 24 February. Emergency crews from the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and London Air Ambulance rushed to the scene.
Tragic Scene: Woman Killed, Others Injured
Despite frantic efforts, a woman in her 40s was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other pedestrians suffered injuries but are not in a life-threatening condition and were taken to hospital.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in custody as police continue their investigation.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Road closures near the crash site were in place to aid emergency and forensic teams but have now been lifted.
