Man Stabbed in North London Park – Police Launch Urgent Hunt
Detectives are on the case after a 20-year-old man was stabbed in north London, collapsing in Montrose Park, NW9.

At 10.57pm on Tuesday, 5 May, police were called to Montrose Park following reports that a man had collapsed after being stabbed. Officers and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
His family has been informed.
Possible Attack on Nearby Booth Road
Detectives believe the man may have been stabbed earlier on Booth Road, NW9. He reportedly fled on a moped before collapsing in the park. Police are piecing together the timeline and searching for witnesses.

“This victim is lucky not to have suffered more serious injuries than he already has,” said Detective Sergeant Mark Johnson, North West CID. “We are treating this case as a priority and need the community’s help to find those responsible.”

“We understand local residents will be worried, but tackling violent crime remains the Met’s top priority. We’re working around the clock to catch offenders, remove weapons, and keep our communities safe.”
The Met Police will increase patrols in the area to reassure residents. Officers encourage anyone with concerns or information to come forward.
