The burglary took place between 5pm and 9pm on November 23 at a house in Kandahar. The occupant was out at the time, leaving the home vulnerable.
Thieves Ransack Property and Make Off With Valuables
Offenders smashed their way inside, turning the house upside down. They grabbed cash and a passport before fleeing the scene.
Police Hunt Culprits Using CCTV and Doorbell Footage
Detectives from the Burglary Team are conducting house-to-house enquiries and scouring local CCTV and doorbell camera footage to catch the criminals.
“Burglary is such an upsetting and unsettling ordeal for victims, but we would like residents to feel reassured that we are carrying out a thorough investigation into this incident,” said Det Con Cerys Powell.
“We’d also like to remind everyone to follow home security advice found on the Wiltshire Police website. With the darker evenings, it’s vital to make your home look occupied if you’re out.”
