Delivery Driver Assaulted as Van Stolen in Maidstone

A delivery driver was attacked and robbed in broad daylight on Graveney Road, Senacre, at around 5.30pm on Saturday, 12 February 2022. The suspect struck the driver just as he returned to his parked van – before making off with the vehicle.

Suspect Description and Van Found

The thief is described as a white male, about 30 years old, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and a woollen hat. The stolen van was later discovered abandoned on Whitebeam Drive, Coxheath.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

PC Ashleigh Fell from Maidstone CID urged anyone with information to come forward. She said:

“Investigators have been checking CCTV in the area and we are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to call the appeal line. We are also asking motorists with dashcam and residents with privately-held CCTV to check for footage that may assist the investigation.”
