Tragic E-Scooter Crash in Heath Road Claims Man’s Life
Police were called at 7.10pm on Thursday, 15 July after a man fell from an e-scooter on Heath Road. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but the 53-year-old rider was left in a life-threatening condition.
Victim Dies a Week Later
The victim was taken to hospital, but sadly passed away from his injuries on Thursday, 22 July. His next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
Investigation Underway, No Other Vehicles Involved
Police say no other vehicles appear to have been involved. A post-mortem will take place, and inquiries into the cause of the crash continue.
