Man Arrested Under Terrorism Act in Derry
25-Year-Old Detained in Serious Crime Inquiry
A 25-year-old man has been arrested in the Derry/Londonderry area under the Terrorism Act. He was taken straight to the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave Police Station for questioning.
Police Seize Items During Ongoing Investigation
Detective Inspector Clara Heaton said: “Today’s arrest and searches are part of an ongoing investigation into criminal activity. A number of items have been seized and taken for further examination.”
Public Asked to Help with Investigation
The incident was first reported on Monday 15th August. Police are urging anyone with information or who may have captured footage to get in touch.
