Five-Year-Old Snatched and Dragged in Broad Daylight at Northolt Park
Terrifying Grab at Northala Fields
A chilling incident unfolded around 2:30pm on Thursday, 7 January, at Northala Fields, Northolt. A man suddenly snatched a five-year-old boy, lifting him up and running a short distance before the child’s quick-thinking mother intervened.
The boy was safely put down and was unharmed, but the ordeal has shaken the local community.
Suspect on the Loose
Police have released a description of the suspect: a slim, muscular man with a pale complexion, possibly sporting a moustache. He wore a blue-green hooded top with a small white logo on the front, ripped blue jeans, and black trainers.
Police Appeal for Dashcam and Mobile Footage
Detective Constable Ashleigh Nelson from West Area Command CID said:
“Incidents like this are very rare, but we understand the concern it causes. We’re doing everything possible to catch the person responsible.”
She urged the public to come forward with any dashcam or phone footage that could help identify the suspect.
