Teen Arrested After Teen Girls Stabbed in Croydon Attacks
A teenager was arrested in the early hours of Sunday, 8 November, at a residential address in south London. The youth is now in custody following two stabbing attacks on teen girls in Croydon.
Two Separate Stabbings Shake Croydon
Police were first called at 8.23am on Friday, 6 November, to St Paul’s Road, Croydon, after reports of a girl injured by a stabbing. A 15-year-old girl was approached by a stranger who stabbed her in the arm. Emergency services treated her at the scene before she was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, her injuries were not life-threatening.
This came just two days after a similar attack. At 8:50am on Wednesday, 4 November, police responded to reports of another injured girl on Moffat Road, Croydon. Another 15-year-old girl was stabbed in the leg by a stranger. She was also hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries.
Separate Victims, Separate Schools
The two victims attend different schools and are not believed to know each other. Police urge anyone who witnessed the incidents or has information to come forward.
