Four others were hurt during a deadly pub attack, including a 28-year-old man from Beechwood, Wirral, who remains in hospital. Police have arrested a 30-year-old man from Tranmere on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, plus a 19-year-old woman from Rock Ferry on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
Both suspects are now in custody and being questioned by detectives as the probe into Elle’s murder ramps up. Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward and help crack the case.
Two Arrested Over Cold-Blooded Shooting
Detective Superintendent Sue Coombs of Major Crime Investigations said: “We have made two arrests in connection with this cold-blooded shooting.”
She added that Elle’s family are still grieving and getting support from specially trained liaison officers.
Police Plea for Witnesses and Footage
“We will not rest until we bring those responsible to justice,” Coombs said. “We urge anyone who was in the Lighthouse Inn at the time, or who has mobile or CCTV footage of the incident, to contact us immediately. Motorists and residents with dashcam or CCTV footage could hold vital clues.”
