Police Seek Answers as Suspect Released
A 41-year-old man from Wolverhampton, initially arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released without charge. Specially-trained officers are supporting Jomaa’s family, who have asked for privacy during this difficult time.
Detectives Urge Public for Help
Detective Superintendent Tom Chisholm of Staffordshire Police said: “We’ve had a tremendous response from the public, but this is still an early stage of a major investigation. We are following many lines of enquiry.
“We need to understand Jomaa’s movements before her death. Anyone who knew her or saw her in recent months, please come forward. We want to know where she was going and who she was with. We believe someone drove her to the Bridgnorth Road lay-by.”
Did You See Anything Between 1am and 3am?
Detectives are asking: Did you witness any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area between 1am and 3am on Monday? Have dash cam or CCTV footage from Bridgnorth Road or nearby?
Detective Chisholm added: “If you noticed changes in someone’s behaviour or know anything unusual, please get in touch. This is a shocking incident, and we are working hard to find those responsible.”
