Man Jailed for Peddling Drugs in Aylesbury Park

Joshua Cramp, 25, from Viridian Square, Aylesbury, has been sentenced for possession with intent to supply cannabis. The Wycombe Magistrates’ Court handed down the sentence on Monday, September 21.

Stop-and-Search Leads to Arrest

On April 6, police on anti-social behaviour patrols in Whitehill Park stopped Cramp. Officers found cannabis and cash on him. A search of his home uncovered more cannabis, weighing scales, and a large pile of cash.

Cramp was arrested and charged via postal requisition on June 18. He pleaded guilty at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on July 13.

Police Praise Public Tips and Stop-and-Search

“This shows how invaluable stop and search is in tackling drug supply,” said PC Gary Ratcliffe from Aylesbury police station.

“Information from the public is essential. It helps us respond quickly and target drug supply chains to keep Aylesbury Vale tough on crime.”

Community Order and Unpaid Work

Cramp received a community order mandating rehabilitation and must complete 200 hours of unpaid work within 12 months.
