Woman Violently Robs Disabled Man at Brighton Cashpoint
A shocking attack unfolded at a Brighton ATM when a vulnerable man with cerebral palsy was violently robbed. The victim, in his 30s, was withdrawing cash on St James’s Street on 27 October 2025 when a woman approached him, begging for money.
Shoved to Ground and Stolen From
When the man refused, the woman suddenly shoved him to the ground. In the scramble, she snatched his wallet and bank card. Police confirmed the victim was left “shaken by the attack.”
Calm Fraud After Brutal Assault
CCTV footage revealed the cold-blooded criminal calmly using the stolen card in nearby shops. She even bought takeaway food and tried several other transactions without a care.
Fast Arrest and Court Sentence
- Aji Sinera, 30, homeless at the time, was caught just three days later, on 30 October.
- She faced charges of robbery and three counts of fraud by false representation.
- After pleading guilty, Sinera appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody.
- On 19 March at Lewes Crown Court, she was handed 18 months in prison — suspended for two years.
