Hunt On for Woodland Rapist Two Years On
Police are on the lookout for a vile rapist who attacked a woman in a secluded woodland back in mid-2019. The victim only came forward in October 2021, kicking off an ongoing investigation.
Attack Details and Suspect Description
The horrifying incident happened in June or July 2019. The victim was approached by a stranger in the woods and raped. The suspect is described as:
- White male
- Late 40s
- Average build
- About 5ft 5in tall
- Distinctive 1-coloured eyes
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Richard Pringle, head of maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Vulnerability Investigation Team, said: “Although this happened two years ago, the victim has helped us create a computer-generated image of the suspect.”
“We urge anyone who recognises this man or has any information to get in touch,” he added.
