Police Make Six Arrests in Murder Probe After Shooting in North London

Harlesden and N8 Arrests as Murder Investigation Intensifies

On Sunday, July 31, police swooped in Harlesden, arresting two men aged 27 and 64 on suspicion of murder. A 25-year-old woman was also detained for allegedly assisting an offender. That same day, officers raided a home in the N8 area, arresting a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of murder. All four remain in custody at a north London police station.

Kent Police Nab Three Linked to Met Murder Inquiry

Meanwhile, Kent officers stopped a car in Margate for the Metropolitan Police. Two men, 30 and 24, were arrested over murder suspicions. A 17-year-old male was also held for assisting an offender. They remain in Kent custody but face transfer to London shortly.

18-Year-Old Held at City Airport

On Monday, August 1, an 18-year-old man was arrested at City Airport on suspicion of murder. He is currently being held at a police station.

Victim Identified: Camilo Palacio Shot Dead in Enfield

The investigation launched after a shooting on High Road, N22, on Sunday, July 24, at around 9:30 p.m. Officers, including armed units, found 23-year-old Camilo Palacio suffering a gunshot wound. Despite emergency efforts, including London’s Air Ambulance, Camilo was pronounced dead at the scene at 10 p.m.

A post-mortem confirmed Camilo died from a gunshot wound to the chest. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.
