Armed Robbers Strike Shop in Archway Road
A violent robbery rocked a local shop on Archway Road, N6, at around 6.30PM on Saturday, 6 November. Four men barged in, with at least two wielding crowbars.
Shopkeeper Threatened and Assaulted
The gang threatened and attacked the shopkeeper before snatching cash, cigarettes, and other items. They then made a quick getaway, hopping on a tube at Highgate Underground Station.
Police Release Footage and Appeal for Help
Detectives have released gripping footage and three still images of the suspects. PC Daryl Belsey of North Area CID said:
“This was a shocking and violent robbery in a much-loved community shop. The staff member attacked was luckily not seriously hurt, but the ordeal must have been terrifying.”
“We believe these thugs are local to the Archway area. Anyone who recognises them should contact police immediately. We will be relentless in bringing these violent criminals to justice.”
