Shock on the Tube: Woman Sexually Assaulted in Early Morning Attack

Late Night Horror on the Train

On Monday 3 August, between 6am and 6:30am, a woman was travelling on the train between Elephant and Castle and Balham when disaster struck. A man suddenly sat next to her and launched a sexual assault without warning.

Chilling Threats Follow Assault

After the attack, the man pulled drugs from his pocket and tried to get the victim to join him in taking them off the train. He also shockingly claimed he had a knife, trying to intimidate her further.

Escaping Danger at Balham Station

When the train stopped at Balham station, both got off—but separately. The victim walked down a nearby street but noticed the suspect trailing on the opposite side. Fearing for her safety, she quickly returned to the station and lost sight of him.
