Man Arrested Over Claire's Mysterious Disappearance in Bristol
A man was arrested early this morning and is now in police custody for questioning over the disappearance of Claire, 32, from Lawrence Weston.
Claire Vanishes After Leaving Bristol Pub
Claire was last seen leaving Seamus O’Donnell’s pub on St Nicholas Street around 11.15pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. She disappeared a few days later and hasn’t been heard from since.
Police Launch Forensic Search in Clifton
Detective Superintendent Darren Hannant called the arrest a “significant development” in the ongoing suspicious disappearance case. Following new leads, police have begun a forensic search of a public area on Gordon Road, Clifton.
Det Supt Hannant stressed the search is “unconnected to the pub’s current or former owners.” The operation may take several days, with neighbourhood officers stepping up patrols to reassure local residents.

The investigation team is supporting Claire’s family through specialist liaison officers. Police urge anyone with even the smallest piece of information to come forward immediately.
