Detectives Seize Car in Ashley Dale Murder Probe
Police have seized a grey Hyundai i30 linked to the ruthless murder of Ashley Dale in Old Swan last August. The vehicle, a key piece in the ongoing investigation, is now in forensic hands as detectives dig deeper.
Tragic Shooting in Rear Garden
Officers rushed to a Leinster Road home at 12:40pm on Sunday 21 August after concerns were raised for a woman’s safety. Emergency teams found Ashley with a gunshot wound in the back garden. Despite being rushed to hospital, she sadly died shortly after.

Detective Chief Inspector Cath Cummings stressed the importance of community help. “We believe the car was driven around Dovecot and Page Moss, including Pilch Lane, on the night of Ashley’s murder,” she said. “We want anyone who saw the car, knows who was driving, or has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.”
