Two Men Arrested Over Hayes Murder of Baljit Singh, 37
Detectives have arrested two men in their 20s in connection with the shocking death of 37-year-old Baljit Singh in Hayes.
Tragic Death in Station Road Alley
Police and London Ambulance were called to Station Road just before 11pm on Saturday, 25 April after an unresponsive man was found in an alleyway. Baljit Singh, believed to be a local resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cause of Death Confirmed as Neck Compression
A post-mortem at Fulham Mortuary on 27 April revealed Baljit died from compression to the neck. Officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command (Homicide), led by Detective Chief Inspector Helen Rance, are continuing their investigation.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
“We have made two arrests in connection with this tragic incident and our investigation is still very much ongoing. I want to thank the public for their help so far and also renew my appeal for any information,” said DCI Rance.
“Did you see Baljit around 10pm on 25 April near Station Road? If you have any information and haven’t spoken to police yet, please come forward.
