Man Arrested Over Maidstone Park Rape
A man from Tonbridge has been arrested in connection with the rape of a teenage woman in Maidstone. The attack happened in Brenchley Gardens between 2am and 3.10am on Sunday, 10 November 2019.
Victim Attacked After Bar Meeting
The victim, a woman in her late teens, was walking through the park with the suspect when she was raped. They did not know each other before but had spoken earlier that evening in a Week Street bar.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
On Friday 15 November, police arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of rape. He remains in custody as inquiries continue.
