Beware! Smart Amazon Phishers Nearly Caught Me Out
I got an email that looked exactly like it came from Amazon. Spot-on fake.
It warned me of a £72 bill for Prime and urged me to cancel. Foolishly, I clicked the link.
Fake Login Page Fooled Me
The site asked me to sign in. It looked genuine, so I filled in my name, address, and date of birth.
Then the penny dropped. The next page wanted my bank details. Alarm bells rang instantly.
Amazon Confirmed It’s a Clever Scam
I bungled some wrong info and called Amazon. They said no emails had been sent to me.
Forwarding the link to their fraud team, they said it was one of the smartest scams they’d seen.
The sender wasn’t Amazon at all. The scam uses a fake 24-hour deadline to pressure victims into acting fast.
Don’t Get Hooked Like I Almost Did
When I tried logging into Amazon to check my account, the scammers had already changed my password!
This con is seriously cunning. Please check the images, stay sharp, and share this warning so others don’t fall for it.
