Cop Sacked After Brandishing Brandy and Bad Behaviour
Police Constable Rachel Lewis has been axed without warning after serious misconduct claims were confirmed. The NW-BCU officer breached key professional standards, including Authority, Respect, Honesty, Integrity, and Confidentiality.
Hotel Horror: Booze, Abuse, and Bottled Brandy
The trouble kicked off on Sunday, 10 December 2017, when PC Lewis had finished her shift and checked into a hotel. Off duty, she ordered food and drinks but soon lost her cool. Lewis swore and got aggressive with hotel staff. Shockingly, she helped herself to a bottle of brandy from the bar and drank it without permission.
Off-Duty Snooping Lands Officer in Hot Water
The next day, 11 December 2017, Lewis unlawfully accessed and searched police records (CRIS reports) just to check if she was mentioned. She had no legitimate reason to do so. The blatant breach of protocol sealed her fate.
PC Lewis was swiftly dismissed without notice. A tough lesson in police conduct.
