Driver Caught Cruising on Licence Expired 40 Years Ago in Dover!
Unbelievable Licence Fail
Kent Roads Policing Unit (RPU) officers pulled over a motorist in Dover who was still driving on a licence expired way back in 1981 — that’s over 40 years ago! The shock didn’t stop there; the driver had a history of drink driving bans.
Swift Police Action
During routine checks, cops discovered the expired licence and swiftly issued a Traffic Offense Report (TOR). The vehicle was seized immediately, taking the reckless driver off the roads.
“#RPU3 Officers on patrol in the Dover area stopped this vehicle and established that the driver’s licence expired in 1981, having previously been disqualified for drink driving. TOR issued and vehicle seized. #NiceStop #BeaknLinc”
Road Safety Warning
Kent RPU warned all drivers to keep their licences up to date. “Unlicensed and disqualified drivers pose a serious threat,” they said. This bust highlights the relentless effort Kent Police are making to crack down on dangerous drivers and keep roads safe.
