Drunk Driver Arrested After Mowing Down Man in Havant
A 20-year-old man has been arrested after crashing into a pedestrian in Havant on Tuesday evening, leaving the victim seriously injured.
Serious Collision on Elmleigh Road
Hampshire Constabulary were called to Elmleigh Road at 6.30pm on August 21 following the smash involving a Vauxhall Corsa and a 60-year-old man. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Drunk Driver Arrested, Released Pending Investigation
The driver, local to Havant, escaped unhurt but was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and driving under the influence of drugs. He has since been released but remains under active police investigation.
