A tragic crash on Rochdale Road has claimed the life of an e-bike rider and left two pedestrians seriously injured. The deadly smash has shaken the north Manchester community.
Fatal E-Bike Crash on Rochdale Road
Greater Manchester Police confirmed a serious collision involving an e-bike and two pedestrians.
“The male e-bike rider has sadly been pronounced dead at the scene,” a police spokesperson said. “The two pedestrians have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
Major Road Closures Hit the Area
Police are still investigating the crash. Meanwhile, Rochdale Road, Whitemoss Road, and Lionbrow Road remain closed.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes as emergency teams work around the clock.
