Tragedy at Kings Cross: Woman Dies After Fall From Height

Police have confirmed a woman has died following a fall from height near Kings Cross station in central London.

Incident Outside Standard Hotel Sparks Police Response

The Met Police were called just after 5am on Tuesday to Euston Road outside the Standard Hotel. Officers arrived to find the woman critically injured with injuries consistent with a fall from height.

London Ambulance Service also attended the scene but the woman was pronounced dead at the site.

Crime Scene Established, Roads Shut

A crime scene is now in place and large parts of Euston Road have been closed off to traffic as police conduct their investigation.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Police were called to Euston Road, WC1H, at 5.26am on Tuesday, 8 December following reports of a woman with injuries consistent with a fall from height.”

Enquiries are ongoing. Authorities have urged the public to avoid the area while road closures remain in effect.
