Emergency crews scrambled to Hambrough House on Albert Street, Ventnor, just before 3pm on Sunday. Isle of Wight Ambulance and Hampshire Constabulary officers rushed to the scene under blue lights.

Rescue teams remain at the property as one vulnerable individual was swiftly taken away. The patient was escorted under blue light police escort to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport.
