Emergency Chaos as Person Plunges from East London Bridge

A major emergency response was launched Tuesday evening after reports of a person falling from a bridge into the water at Bromley Bow Locks, East London.

Shortly after 7pm on September 3rd, police cars, fire engines, and ambulances flooded Twelvetrees Crescent bridge, which crosses the river by Bow Locks. Eyewitnesses spotted a massive emergency vehicle presence blocking the bridge, while divers geared up for a plunge into the river.

Search and Rescue Underway, Details Scarce

The Met Police, London Fire Brigade, and London Ambulance Service are coordinating the ongoing operation. Authorities have yet to release any information on the victim’s identity or condition.
