Attempted Burglary Shakes Marlow Neighbourhood

Thames Valley Police are hunting witnesses after a botched break-in in Marlow.

Front Door Tampered With Late Wednesday Night

The incident took place between 10.15pm and 10.20pm on Wednesday, 23rd September, on Dean Street. A startled resident heard her front door being opened and quickly shut—despite having locked it moments earlier.

Although the crook failed to get inside, they left behind a nasty smear of oil and red-coloured liquid on the door. Luckily, nothing was stolen.

Police Call for Help

“Thankfully entry was not gained on this occasion,” said PC Andrew Cummins from High Wycombe police. “But we want anyone with information to come forward.”
