Lorry Driver Dies in A2 Horror Crash Near Dover
Collision investigators are urgently hunting witnesses after a lorry driver died on the A2 near Dover.
Three Lorries Involved in Coastbound Pile-Up
The smash happened on the coastbound carriageway near the Whitfield roundabout, as three lorries were heading from Lydden Hill around 10.25am on Friday, 30 July 2021.
Kent Police, alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue, rushed to the scene.
Victim Identified as Estonian Truck Driver
The driver, a man in his 60s from Estonia, tragically died at the scene. His family have been informed.
Police Seek Dashcam Footage and Witnesses
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage from either direction is urged to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit immediately.
