Tragic Motorcycle Crash on A27 Claims Life of Basingstoke Dad
The family of Mark Copley, 51, have paid a heartfelt tribute after the motorcyclist died following a crash on the A27.
Fatal Crash on A27 in Portsmouth
Mark, from Cherry Tree Walk in Basingstoke, was involved in a collision with a car on the eastbound carriageway of the A27 near Portsmouth just after 12:10pm on 30 April. He was rushed to Southampton General Hospital but sadly passed away on 10 May.
Family Mourns Loving Husband and Dad
In a moving statement, the family said: “He was a loving husband and a great dad, who will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses
A 32-year-old man from Havant was arrested in connection with the crash but has since been released pending further investigation.
