Tragedy in Cromwell Avenue as Father Takes Own Life After Daughter’s Death
A father who hanged himself after allegedly killing his young daughter has been named as 44-year-old Darren Flux-Edmonds. Emergency services rushed to the detached home on Cromwell Avenue just after 10am on Wednesday. The young girl was urgently taken to St Mary’s Hospital under police escort but sadly died shortly after arriving.

The little girl, Keziah, was a pupil at Queensgate Primary School. Despite desperate efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead soon after hospital arrival. Tributes have been pouring in for the pair, with neighbours and friends devastated by the shock.

Locals have left flowers and teddy bears at the family home, turning the doorstep into an impromptu memorial. A vigil is planned for 7pm tonight, and everyone is welcome to attend and pay their respects.
