One Trapped After Serious Crash on Middle Road
Fire crews are racing against time tonight to rescue a person trapped in a serious crash on Middle Road, between Carisbrooke and Calbourne.
Emergency Teams Use Cutting Gear to Free Victim
Crews are using heavy-duty cutting equipment near Betty Haunt Lane to free the trapped individual. Firefighters began removing the vehicle’s roof as part of the rescue effort.
Road Shut as Rescue Operation Underway
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, alongside police and paramedics, were called just after 9.30pm on Monday. Middle Road is currently closed both ways as the emergency services work to save the crash victim.
