Six fire crews rushed to a tower block blaze in Southampton just before 1am on Saturday.
Kitchen Fire Sparks Panic on Ninth Floor
The fire broke out in a kitchen after a cooker was left unattended in a ninth-floor flat on Duke Street. Firefighters battled flames using six sets of breathing apparatus, three jets, and tactical ventilation to bring the blaze under control.
No Injuries but Streets Sealed Off
Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident. Police cordoned off part of Duke Street, urging locals to steer clear while they managed the large-scale emergency.
