Just after midnight on Friday, Didcot Fire Station crews raced to Harwell Village following reports of a van on fire. They found a camper van engulfed in flames, with fire creeping dangerously close to nearby homes and vehicles.
Firefighters Battle Flames with High-Tech Gear
Wearing breathing apparatus and armed with two high-pressure hose reels, firefighters quickly tackled the inferno. Their swift action stopped the blaze from spreading further and bringing devastation to the neighbourhood.
Arson Investigation Underway
Thames Valley Police believe the fire was deliberately set. Officers are now combing the local area for clues and appealing to the public for help.
