Teens Stabbed in Shocking Croydon Street Brawl
Chaos Erupts on Church Street
Police were flooded with calls at 5.25pm on Monday, 20 March, reporting a large group of youths fighting on Church Street, Croydon. The violence quickly escalated, leaving two teenage boys with stabbing injuries.
Victims Rushed to Hospital
The injured teens were rushed to hospital, where their conditions remain under assessment. At least one youth has been arrested in connection with the brawl as police launch an intense investigation.
Eyewitness Describes Terrifying Scene
“I saw the fight on Church Street,” said an anonymous witness. “After a boy was stabbed, he fell to the floor. I’m not sure if they were fighting before that.”
“I heard him scream, then someone shouted, ‘He’s been stabbed, he’s been stabbed!’ Near the pub, some boys came out wielding an orange shovel and a large stick, shouting.”
“The fight seemed to spill onto a side street. Friends of the stabbed boy came out to check on him. It was quite sad. I hope both injured boys are okay.”
“It made me so upset that they resorted to stabbing each other. I was just having a casual chat when it happened. As a mother, his screams hit me hard—I would hate for it to be my child.”

An extensive crime scene remains in place, with police launching a Section 60 Order from 7.15pm until 6am. This gives officers extra stop-and-search powers as they hunt for anyone involved.
