Gunman on the Run After Shots Fired at Slough Car

Thames Valley Police are hunting a gunman after a dramatic shooting in Slough this evening. The incident happened around 6.55pm near the roundabout at Richards Way and Chapels Way, Cippenham. Locals reported hearing gunshots fired at a vehicle, sparking panic in the area.

Shooter Targets VW Golf, Both Flee Scene

Eyewitnesses say the suspect fired at a black car, believed to be a VW Golf. The gunman was dressed all in black and wore a bandana masking his face. Both the shooter and the targeted vehicle sped off before police arrived at the scene.

Police Launch Forensic Sweep and Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Detective Inspector Sarah Noah said: “I appreciate this incident will cause concern in the community, but I want to reassure residents that we are conducting a thorough investigation.”

Officers have cordoned off the area to carry out forensic tests. House-to-house enquiries and CCTV reviews are underway. Police remain visible in the neighbourhood and are calling on anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
