Gunshots Fired at Kirkby House in Shocking Evening Incident
Police in Merseyside are investigating after shots were fired at a property in Kirkby on Friday night.
Evening Shooting Rocks Alvina Lane
At around 7.50pm, officers responded following reports that a door on Alvina Lane had been damaged by gunfire. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the scary incident.
Suspects on Sur Ron Bikes Open Fire
Chief Inspector Dave Currie revealed that a group of males on Sur Ron electric bikes arrived at the house before firing shots towards the doorway.
“It is very early stages as we seek to establish what has taken place and we are speaking to people in the local area to understand what has happened,” Currie said.
“Thankfully nobody was injured but clearly incidents such as this have the potential to have serious or even fatal consequences.”
Police Launch House-to-House and CCTV Inquiries
Officers are combing the area with house-to-house visits, witness interviews, and CCTV checks as the probe intensifies.
Currie urged anyone with information or who spotted anything suspicious near Alvina Lane to come forward immediately:
“Guns have no place on our streets and the public need to tell us what they know so we can take action.”
