West Midlands Police are probing a terrifying early morning shooting in Dudley. Just before 1am on 16 May, armed officers were scrambled after an Audi was targeted by gunfire and rammed by a Nissan Qashqai at Maypole Fields near halesowen" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#Halesowen.
The Audi sustained visible damage, but thankfully no one was hurt in the violent encounter.
Targeted Attack, Say Police
Officers believe the shooting was a deliberate attack, although no motive has yet been confirmed. Authorities acknowledged the fear the incident caused locally.
“We do not underestimate the alarm and distress this has sparked in the community,” police said.
