Fire Erupts at Coyote Ugly on Broad Street

Police have launched a probe after a suspected arson attack at Birmingham’s buzzing Coyote Ugly bar. Fire crews raced to the scene just before 4am Tuesday following reports of a fire outside the venue.

Deliberate Damage Confirmed

West Midlands Police confirmed detectives are treating the fire as a deliberate act. A sign and part of the bar’s front door were deliberately set ablaze. Thankfully, firefighters quickly doused the flames, and no one was hurt. Only minor damage was caused to the building’s exterior.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

An investigation is now underway following a fire outside a business premises on Broad Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning. At this stage, it is being treated as suspected arson. Enquiries are ongoing.”

Broad Street remains open with no disruption to other local businesses. Police urge anyone who spotted suspicious activity near the bar around the time of the fire to step forward.
