Van Heist on Upper Grosvenor Road Leaves Driver Threatened

A man delivering parcels was threatened and his van stolen in Upper Grosvenor Road late Tuesday night.

Threat at 11.40pm

The victim stood by his parked Vauxhall Vivaro when a man approached, threatened him, and snatched the van keys. The suspect then fled driving the van towards the town centre.

Suspect Description and Weapon Concerns

The suspect is described as white, around 5’6″ tall, wearing a black face covering. Police believe he may have been armed during the raid.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Constable Chris Welham, West Kent CID: “An investigation is underway. We urge anyone who saw the incident or has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.”
