Violent Disorder Rocks Jubilee Square After Euro 2020 Final

Chaos broke out in Jubilee Square on Sunday, 11 July 2021, right after the Euro 2020 final. A car was damaged, and nine police officers suffered assaults during the disorderly scenes.

Kent Police Launch Hunt for Suspects

Two days later, Kent Police released images of possible suspects, appealing to the public for help. The force is eager to track down those involved in the violent incidents.

Multiple Arrests Made Over Weekend

  • On Friday 16 July, two men and a teenage boy showed up at maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone police station and were arrested for violent disorder.
  • On the same day, another man was arrested in Eltham, Greater London, facing charges including violent disorder, assaulting an emergency worker, and outraging public decency.
  • Earlier arrests include four men and three teenage boys detained between 11 and 15 July, all bailed pending further investigation.

Police Seek Videos and Witnesses to Crack Case

Detectives are appealing for anyone with CCTV, dashcam, or phone footage from Jubilee Square between 11pm and midnight on 11 July to get in touch. Call 01622 604100 and quote crime reference number 46/122441/21.
