69-Year-Old Woman Found Murdered in Camden Home – Police Hunt Suspect and Missing Diamond Rolex

Tragic Discovery in Mornington Place

A 69-year-old woman was found brutally stabbed to death in her own home in Camden. Jennifer Abbott, better known as Sarah Steinberg, was discovered with fatal wounds at her Mornington Place residence around 6pm on Friday, 13 June, following a call from the London Ambulance Service. Despite efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem confirmed she died from sharp force trauma.

Community Left Reeling

Jennifer was a beloved local figure, often seen walking her Corgi dog through Camden’s streets. Neighbours last spotted her alive on Tuesday, 10 June.

“She was a familiar face and always kind,” a local told Sentinel Current. “This has shaken everyone who knew her.”

Rolex Watch Missing – Robbery Suspected?

Police have revealed a valuable diamond-encrusted Rolex watch is missing from Jennifer’s home. The Metropolitan Police shared an image of a similar high-value watch, appealing to jewellers, pawnbrokers, and the public to stay alert.

“It could be worth thousands of pounds,” a police spokesperson said. “Its disappearance may be linked to the motive for the murder.”

Urgent Call for Witnesses

Chief Superintendent Jason Stewart urged: “We are working closely with the homicide team to establish what happened. If you were in Camden on Friday evening and saw or heard anything unusual near Mornington Place, please contact us. No detail is too small.”

Informants are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 6022/13JUN. Anyone with CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage from the area is also urged to come forward. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be submitted to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
